A meter model is described by a register map in a plain text file — addresses, data types, scaling, and what each register actually measures. Adding a brand is writing a file, not waiting for a vendor.
Speaks the wiring you have.
RS485 serial, Modbus TCP, and RTU through an Ethernet gateway. Several meters on one bus, several buses at once. A scan walks the bus and tells you what answered.
Shows the plant live.
Every reading each meter publishes, every two seconds, grouped by what it is rather than what the manufacturer calls it — so two brands read the same on one page.
Keeps the history.
One hour to a year on the same chart, zoomable, with every high and low preserved even when a week is drawn a thousand pixels wide.
Watches for trouble.
Rules on any measurement: a meter that stopped answering, phase imbalance, reverse power flow, over-voltage. Raised once, cleared once, logged with the peak.

PowerMeter collector
Manager's client
- Download and run the installer on any office PC — no administrator rights needed.
- On the collector, open Settings → Services and press Pair a client. It shows an address and six digits.
- The client opens on Connect to a collector: type the address and the code. The code works once and expires after five minutes.
- To watch another plant, use Add a site and pair with that plant's collector the same way.
Android app
from the collector- On the collector, open Settings → Services and press Show install code — it shows a QR code.
- Point the phone's camera at it and open the link; Android asks to allow the install, as it does for any app not from a store. The link expires after five minutes.
- Press Show pairing code on the collector, then open the app, choose Pair and scan that second code.
- That is all: from then on the app reads the collector over the plant network and updates itself from it.

The collector does the work. The desktop client and the phone read what it has, over your own network — nothing leaves the site.
The collector, on the plant PC
The only part that speaks to the meters. It polls the bus, records every reading, raises the alarms and sends the reports. It runs as a Windows service, so collection carries on with nobody logged in and starts again by itself after a power cut.
The manager's client, on any office PC
The same live values, consumption, trends and alarms, read from the collector over the LAN. Paired by typing six digits the collector shows you. It holds several sites, so one office can watch more than one plant, and it never touches a meter itself.
The phone, on the plant's own network
Android. Paired by scanning a code on the collector's screen. Live values, consumption and trends in your pocket, and an alarm arrives as a notification rather than waiting to be found. It updates itself from the collector, so the phone on site is never a version behind.
The client and the phone are included. There is no per-seat charge and no account to create: they pair to your collector and read only what it already has.
It tells you when it does not know
A missing reading shows as a dash, never a zero. A gap in the history breaks the line rather than drawing through it, because a line across a gap is a claim nobody can make. A counter that went backwards — reset, replaced, rolled over — is left out of the total rather than counted as zero, and the report says which meter and why. A meter answering through the wrong register map is flagged rather than shown as a screen full of plausible numbers.
This is the difference between a tool an engineer trusts and a dashboard that looks fine while it is wrong.

The installation is the product
What a plant buys is meters read correctly, a PC that keeps collecting, and someone who has done it before. The software is licensed per site and works offline — there is no licence server to call and nothing to break when the internet does. The licence does not expire the data: everything already recorded stays readable whatever happens to the key.

Ce este PowerMeter?
PowerMeter este un software de monitorizare și contorizare a energiei electrice pentru fabrici, hale de producție și alte instalații industriale care au deja contoare montate. Citește contoarele Modbus din tablou și afișează pe un singur ecran valorile la fiecare 2 secunde, consumurile, graficele, alarmele și rapoartele. Rulează pe un PC din instalație, ca serviciu Windows, fără să fie nevoie de contoare noi. Doar citește — nu comandă și nu modifică nimic în tablou.
Ce contoare de energie poate citi PowerMeter?
Orice contor Modbus descris de o hartă de registre — un fișier JSON cu adresele, tipurile de date, scalarea și ce măsoară fiecare registru. Sunt incluse hărți pentru contoarele Eastron SDM120 și SDM630 și Algodue UPM209, UPM309, UPT210 și seria UEM. Algodue și Eastron sunt verificate pe echipament real; hărțile transcrise doar din manualul producătorului sunt marcate în aplicație ca neverificate până la prima citire pe un contor. O marcă nouă înseamnă un fișier nou, nu așteptarea unui furnizor.
Cum se conectează la contoare: RS485, Modbus RTU sau Modbus TCP?
Prin toate trei: Modbus RTU pe RS485 (de exemplu cu un adaptor USB-RS485), Modbus TCP și Modbus RTU printr-un gateway serial-Ethernet. Pe o magistrală pot fi mai multe contoare și pot rula mai multe magistrale simultan. O scanare parcurge magistrala și arată ce contoare au răspuns.
Cât de des citește contoarele și cât istoric păstrează?
Fiecare contor este interogat la 2 secunde — măsurat pe echipament la o mediană de 2,00 s. Istoricul se vede de la o oră la un an pe același grafic, cu zoom, iar fiecare maxim și minim este păstrat și când intervalul este lung. Stocarea măsurată: circa 4,5 GB pe an pentru fiecare contor — un PC obișnuit păstrează ani de istoric.
Ce alarme și rapoarte oferă?
Reguli pe orice mărime măsurată: contor care nu mai răspunde, dezechilibru de tensiune între faze, flux invers de putere, supratensiune. O alarmă ajunge pe e-mail, ca notificare lângă ceasul Windows și pe telefon. Rapoartele de consum, statistici, grafice și jurnalul de alarme se generează în PDF sau CSV, la cerere sau programat, și pot fi trimise pe e-mail.
Funcționează fără internet și fără cloud?
Da. Colectorul rulează local, ca serviciu Windows, și continuă colectarea fără utilizator autentificat și după o pană de curent. Datele nu ies din incintă. Licența este per locație și funcționează offline, fără server de licențe, iar datele deja înregistrate rămân lizibile orice s-ar întâmpla cu licența.
Pot urmări consumul de pe alt PC sau de pe telefon?
Da. Aplicația Windows pentru manager și aplicația Android sunt incluse, fără cost pe utilizator. Aplicația de birou se asociază cu colectorul printr-un cod de șase cifre și poate urmări mai multe locații; telefonul se instalează și se asociază scanând un cod QR afișat de colector. Ambele citesc doar prin rețeaua instalației.
Cât costă și există perioadă de probă?
Perioada de probă este de 30 de zile, cu toate funcțiile, pe tabloul real. Prețul se stabilește per instalație: trimiteți-ne marca și modelul contoarelor din tablou și primiți un răspuns în aceeași săptămână.
Este PowerMeter un SCADA?
Nu. PowerMeter doar citește și înregistrează — nu comandă echipamente. Pentru consumul de energie oferă ce ar oferi un SCADA de energie: valori în timp real, istoric, alarme și rapoarte, fără costul și complexitatea unui SCADA.
